RULES & PROCEDURES
Exhibitions - Official Art Scenes:
• The Electricity Museum "Casa da Luz" - Madeira Islands - Portugal.
• International Ocean Terminal - Funchal Harbor - Madeira Islands - Portugal.
Acess: Free Admission to all Visitors
REGULATIONS:
1 / Artists are invited to submit one updated CV, a personal photo to the artist's
profile and photos max 2 artworks you may want to present. Photos resolution plus 800 pixels.
2 / Art Curators of the Academy as follows:
a) Dame Françoise Tempra (UK/Malta)
b) Prof Dot Claudia Mantelli (Italy)
c) Manuel Martins Barata (Portugal)
d) Saíra Kleinhans (Japan)
3 / ARTWORKS:
Accepted for painting-Sculpture-Photography-Graphics-Installation and VideoArt
Facilities:
Admission proposals requested to be sent for previous evaluation to:

4 / PARTICIPANTS:
(Artists) Admission for those with more than 16 years old only.
5 / NO ADMISSION:
For Artworks previously presented live at ours.
6 / PARTNERSHIPS-GENERAL ADMISSION OF ARTISTS AND ARTWORKS:
Accepted Artists must follow General Admission Conditions of the Zarco Academy of Arts
International. Artists accepted by the Academy are considered Guests. Participating proposals, out of the events mentioned above or Institutions with public agreements with the Academy, must follow their own conditions, providing they match with ours.
TAXES & FEES - Shall apply between Partners Representatives and their own Artists
before the Admission File Presentation at ours. Guests participation on a free basis admission.
7 / CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION:
Confirmation of Registration only valid after the results of an approved filed, had been sent back to Artists or Agents.
8 / TIMINGS for PERFORMING ARTISTS OR PRIVATE REPRESENTATIVES
a) 5 months before the Official Opening Day.
b) Results published till 90 days, after the File Delivery at ours from the Curators evaluation and decision.
9 / FORMATS:
Paintings - 80x80cms Max
(Other formats above this limitation, available only on demand)
Sculpture - 30kgs....Max
Photography - 50x40cms... All framed
All accepted on a free basis theme
10 / SHIPPING-INSURANCE-PICK UP PROCEDURES
Assured by Artists or their agents till two weeks before Inauguration Date or one Month after
the end of the events. Zarco Academy won't be responsible for shipping damages or artworks
during delivery or pick up. Anyway we are committed to care and respect Artworks during the Art
Exhibition.
11 / SALES
Can be given to eventual customers on request, phone number or e-mail.
Artists or Agents, must send to the Academy with each file full contacts even for commercial purposes.
Sales out of the Organizing Team responsibility.
Artworks can't be removed before the end of each Event.
12 / FURTHER INFORMATIONS

13 / No Artworks will be available for pick-Up without a personal assistance of one Member
of the Academy's Board.
14 / One digital catalogue of each event will be given to each participating Artist or Agent, as well as one Certificate signed by the Founder President of this Academy of Arts. An Official Artist's List of all Participants will be announced to the Public.
15 / PARTICIPATING AGENTS LIMITS
Amounts requested to artists for procedures regarding, file preparation and Assistance for Legal
purposes, shouldn't in any case, to all Agents, go further than 30 euros for each participating Artist.
16 / Amounts charged in Item 15 are of full Responsibility of Agents, Institutions or Independent Artists accepted for the Events (one by one) so far.These amounts won´t, in any case be considered as a profit of the Zarco Academy of Arts, International Fine Arts By The Sea.
